- The Rockville Centre Board of Trustees will meet on Monday at 7 p.m.
- Tuesday is Election Day. Check out our guide later for all local races.
- Schools are closed Tuesday for Election Day. The Board of Education will hold a work session on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
- Constance Brown-Riggs, an award-winning registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator and national spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, will discuss five ways to make soul food diabetes friendly on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center.
- Hand surgery specialist Dr. Andrew Farber, of Mercy Medical Center, will discuss symptoms and available treatments for conditions such as arthritis, injuries, and over-use and repetitive motion problems like carpal tunnel syndrome at the RVC Library on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
- Hofstra Professor Stanislao G. Pugliese will discuss the relationship between the Vatican and the Holocaust on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Oceanside JCC.
