South Side Spring Sports Update

Baseball

South Side Cyclones baseball is out to an 10-3 overall start with a 9-3 record in Conference A-II, as of April 29.

The Cyclones sit one game back from both Plainedge and Division. However, South Side has won three straight games, including two against Division and one against Plainedge.

Softball

After a 3-3 start to the season, the Lady Cyclones have dropped four straight games.

As of April 29, South Side sits in sixth place in League II with a 2-7 in-conference record.

Boys Lacrosse

The Cyclones have not seen the .500 mark since the beginning of the season, but still sit in the thick of things in a very competitive Conference II.

As of April 29, South Side sits in fourth place with a 2-3 conference record and an overall record of 4-7.

Girls Lacrosse

The Lady Cyclones are on pace for a potential championship season.

South Side’s 5-0 Conference II record has the team sitting in second place behind 6-0 Locust Valley, as of April 29. The Lady Cyclones have an overall record of 9-3.

Senior Michaela Lynch put up 34 points during South Side’s four-game win streak from April 16-23.
