The South Side Lady Cyclones traveled to Herricks High School Sept. 8 for their first volleyball tournament of the season.
The Lady Cyclones advanced, undefeated, to the championship round where they took first place in the tournament.
In addition, to a very successful day for the team, two of South Side’s players were given special recognition. Kayla Principato received the All-Tournament Player award and Allison Glass received the MVP award.
