PLAYOFFS: South Side Girls Volleyball Headed Back to Nassau Finals
Lady Cyclones defeat Lynbrook, Long Beach to set up rematch with Wantagh.
The South Side Lady Cyclones volleyball team defeated Long Beach Saturday afternoon to advance to its second straight Nassau County Class A championship.
The Lady Cyclones swept Long Beach 3-0 Saturday, a day after they swept Lynbrook 3-0 in the quarterfinals.
South Side is now set up for a rematch of last year's county final against Wantagh. The Lady Cyclones fell in five sets last season.
