Cyclones Baseball Grounds Jericho Jayhawks, 21-4
Junior David Hawley scored three runs and swiped three bags.
The South Side Cyclones beat the Jericho Jayhawks on Thursday, 21-4, and were led by pitcher Ed Farington who hurled six innings and allowed two runs.
David Hawley was the catalyst on offense, going 3-for-4 with an RBI, three runs scored and three stolen bases.
Louis Lauphemir continued his solid production, hitting a three-run triple in the first inning. John Angeles also connected for his first hit of the season, driving a double into the right field gap for two RBIs. George Kowalski set the tone defensively with eight put outs. South Side improved to 4-6, and look to carry its momentum into next week when they meet Hewlett for a three-game series.
