Mayor, Village Board Visit Bonefish Grill Site

Rockville Centre Mayor Francis X. Murray and members of the village board visited the construction site of the new Bonefish Grill last week.

The Rockville Centre Village Board approved the construction of Bonefish Grill at its meeting on April 3.

The restaurant will replace the long-closed RKO Theater at 340 Sunrise Highway.

“When I first took office, one of my goals was to fill empty storefronts and bring new businesses to Rockville Centre," Murray said as he surveyed the construction site of Bonefish Grill. "Bringing Bonefish Grill goes a long way towards accomplishing that goal. This new restaurant will further our reputation as the place to be for foodies."

Bonefish Grill is a seafood restaurant based out of Tampa, Fla., with more than 100 restaurants across the country.
