Baldwin Library Head Tapped for Top Position at RVC Library

The current director of the Baldwin Public Library will soon take over the top position at the Rockville Centre Library.

Catherine Overton, of Lynbrook, who has served as director at the Baldwin facility for two years, will replace the outgoing director, Maureen Chiofalo, who is retiring after seven years in the position. Overton’s first day will be Monday.

Overton, who climbed to the top position in Baldwin over a 16-year career, told the Herald she plans to continue the work of her predecessor, calling the services that the RVC library provides “excellent.”
