Rockville Centre Man Charged in Car Heist
A woman was said to have been thrown to the ground before having her keys taken.
Nassau County police said a Rockville Centre man has been arrested for stealing a woman's car outside of a Baldwin laundromat.
According to detectives, a woman was in the parking lot near Basket of Laundry on Merrick Road when Brian W. Quinn allegedly grabbed her from behind, demanding her car keys, before throwing her to the ground.
Suffolk County police located Quinn in the vehicle in Wyandanch and placed him under arrest without incident.
He is charged with Robbery 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
