- On Aug. 31 at 11:05 p.m., Bradley Vercosa, 19, of Valley Stream, was arrested on Merrick Road and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- On Sept. 5 at 7:15 p.m., Dominick Morda, 32, of Lynbrook, was arrested on Sunrise Highway and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Case Reports
- A complainant reports that he paid $8,060 on July 29 to a subject in San Diego, Calif. to purchase an automobile that was listed on eBay and never received the vehicle.
- Between 2:15 a.m. and 2:35 a.m. on Aug. 30, the windows were broken on a 2003 Cadillac parked on Atlantic Avenue causing $700 in damage.
- Between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Sept. 2 an Apple iPhone — valued at $300 — was taken from a cargo van parked on New Street.
