Crimes Nearby: Lynbrook PD Arrests Three Suspects in January Home Burglary

Arrests

Jan. 24 - at 11:15 a.m., Ronald Q. Heggs, 21 of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with false personation, parole warrant and second-degree burglary on Griffin Place. The burglary charge was for a burglary that occurred at a residence in Uniondale between 8:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 24.

Jan. 24 - at 6:33 p.m., Taimar Bonaparte, 22 of St. Albans, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary at 1 Columbus Drive. The burglary charge was for a burglary that occurred at a residence in Uniondale between 8:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 24.

Jan. 24 - at 6:37 p.m., Chaz Graves, 22, of St Albans was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary on Langdon Place. The burglary charge was for a burglary that occurred at a residence in Uniondale between 8:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 24.

Jan. 25 - at 12:50 p.m., Yosef B. Liebowitz, 23 of Boca Raton, FL was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninsured motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle on Peninsula Boulevard. The defendant was also charged with an open warrant from the Lawrence Village Court for unlicensed operator, uninsured motor vehicle, failure to obey a traffic control device, improper registration plates and unsecured registration plate.

Jan. 25 - at 11:55 p.m., Christine M. Cooleen, 21, of Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (three counts) and unlawful possession of marijuana on Denton Avenue.

Jan. 27 - at 9:19 p.m., Manoj Patel, 35 of Hewlett, was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child. The defendant sold alcohol to a 17-year-old female while working at Lynbrook Beverage, 117 Broadway in Lynbrook.

Jan. 27 -  at 5:40 a.m., Nicole M. Tancredi, 29, of West Islip, was arrested and charged with DWI (Drugs), criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation and impede traffic on Peninsula Boulevard

Jan. 28  - at 7:40 p.m., Albert P. Cisario Jr, 47, of Inwood, was arrested and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding on Merrick Road.

Jan. 28 - at 11:45 p.m., Medalith Ardian, 44, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated (.18 percent or more), DWI, leaving the scene of an incident without reporting (accident) and driving to left of pavement markings on Merrick Road. 

Case Reports

Lost Property – At 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 24, the complainant reports a lost New York State Handicapped Parking Permit. The permit was lost in the vicinity of 33 Atlantic Ave.

Criminal Mischief – At 4:05 p.m. on Jan. 27, the complainant reports that an unknown person(s) damaged and removed the steering column from their 2008 Mercedes GL450 which was parked in their driveway on Reyam Road. The person(s) also removed a Bose six-CD changer from the vehicle. The total loss is valued at $885.

Possession of a Forged Instrument - At 6 p.m. on Jan. 27, the complainant reports that a male dropped off a prescription at CVS located at 633 Merrick Road. After the subject returned and picked up the prescription it was discovered that the prescription pad was in fact stolen. The subject is described as a M/B, in his 20’s with short dark hair.

Criminal Mischief - At 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 28, a 2010 Ford which was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 1 had pins pushed into the sidewall area of the right front tire. The value of the tire is $200.

Lynbrook Police arrested a Freeport man Monday in connection with the burglary of an East Meadow back in January.

According to Nassau Fifth Squad detectives, around 3:20 p.m., Emania Shepard, 50, of Freeport, was arrested in Lynbrook on unrelated charges. During a subsequent investigation, Nassau detectives recognized him as the suspect wanted in connection with stealing Dr. John Zaso's emergency vehicle back on Jan. 11 in East Meadow.

The vehicle was taken while Dr. Zaso, a pediatrician, was in his office at 611 Merrick Ave. Shepard allegedly walked into the office and took the keys, then made off with the jeep.

Shepard's actions were captured on video which was reviewed by investigators.
