Crime Watch: S. Village Eatery Burglarized for $2K

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the RVC Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests:

On Dec. 11 at 2:34 a.m., Albert Giles, 35, of Springfield Gardens, was arrested for first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and VTL violations following a police investigation on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Dec. 11 at 1:10 a.m., Andrew M. Lanzello, 26, of Valley Stream, was arrested for DWI and VTL violations following a police investigation on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Dec. 9  at 9:32 p.m., Peter J. Fazio Jr., 23, of Warwick, New York, was arrested for fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and disorderly conduct following a police investigation on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

Burglary:

On Dec. 5 at 11:50 p.m., complainant owner of Prime Catch Restaurant, located at 41 S. Park Ave., reported that at approximately 2 p.m., $2,260 was stolen from an office safe.

On Dec. 7 at 11:30 p.m., a complainant from Maple Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) entered his apartment and stole property to include $400 and jewelry sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 10:43 p.m.

On Dec. 8 at 6 p.m., a complainant from William Street in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a first floor window next to the front door and knocked over pictures on a table in front of it sometime between Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 at 4 a.m. Complainant reported no loss at time of report.
