Crime Watch: RVC Man Beat Up, Robbed on Randall Avenue

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest:

On March 20 at 7:35 p.m., Jerry Williams, 53, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana following an investigation by police personnel on Morgan Days Drive North in Rockville Centre.

On March 20 at 10:25 a.m., Babatunde A. Oladipo, 56, of Arverne, was arrested for third-degree menacing following an investigation by police personnel at 1000 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

On March 24 at 12:51 a.m., Michelle Macchia, 33, of Lynbrook, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and leaving the scene of a property damage accident following a police investigation in Municipal Parking Field No. 9 in Rockville Centre.

On March 26 at 12:43 a.m., Jaime W. Cardenas, 37, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for an open arrest warrant issued by the City of Long Beach for consuming alcohol in public following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Madison Avenue in Rockville Centre.

On March 24 at 9:24 p.m., Jonathan Vasquez, 24, of East Rockaway, was arrested for third-degree assault following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of 18 S. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre.

On March 25 at 11:48 p.m., Nicole K. Feuer, 28, of East Rockaway, was arrested for petit larceny following an investigation by police personnel at CVS Pharmacy, located at 598 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

On March 25 at 11:48 p.m., Benjamin M. Maynard, 26, of Merrick, was arrested for petit larceny following an investigation by police personnel at CVS Pharmacy, located at 598 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

Robbery:

On March 23 at 6:55 p.m., a complainant from Pickwick Terrace in Rockville Centre reported that while on Randall Avenue in Rockville Centre at approximately 6:25 p.m., two unknown males struck him in the head with a stick causing a contusion, stole his wallet and $620; the two subjects fled the scene on foot in unknown direction(s).

Burglary:

On March 23 at 11:30 a.m., a complainant from Seitz Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a rear door, entered her residence without permission sometime between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and stole property including assorted jewelry valued at $5,000 and two lap top computers valued at $1,900.
