Crime Watch: RVC Man Arrested on Weapon, Imprisonment Charges

Arrest
Joseph J. Falson, 28, of Ridge, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 11:41 p.m. for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Municipal Parking Field #12 and Sunrise Highway.

James W. Shrader, 23, of San Diego, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 27 at 3:40 a.m. for third-degree criminal trespass following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Banks Avenue.
Travis D. Eason, 27, of Baldwin, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2:40 a.m. for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest following an investigation by police personnel on Front Street.

Gregory P. Stamm, 70, of Rockville Centre, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 11:40 a.m. for second-degree menacing, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree criminal use of a firearm, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon following an investigation by police personnel at his South Kensington Avenue residence.
Kevin E. Bantum, 48, of Jamaica, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 30 at 6:33 a.m. for petit larceny following an investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway.
Graffiti
Police personnel on Sept. 23 at about 4:11 p.m. located graffiti on a traffic signal control box and a traffic control sign on Lakeview Avenue at Brower Avenue and Lakeview Avenue at Morris Avenue.
Fire
RCPD and RCFD personnel on Sept. 27 at 1:29 p.m. responded to a house fire on Powell Avenue. The fire was extinguished by RCFD.
Found property
- A resident from Morris Avenue reported to police on Sept. 25 at 9:39 p.m. that they found keys and a car remote in front of 120 Morris Ave.
