Crime Watch Part Two: Man in Van Seen Staring at Young Girls

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

Criminal Mischief:

On Jan. 28 at 8:50 a.m., complainant bar owner from Grand Avenue in Baldwin reported that unknown person(s) damaged a storefront window at N. Village Tavern, located at 40 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre sometime between 3-8 a.m.

On Jan. 27 at 4 p.m., a complainant from Horton Avenue in Lynbrook reported that unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side of her 2008 Toyota while it was parked at Home Goods, located at 150 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre at approximately 12:30 p.m.

On Jan. 29 at 7:30 a.m., a complainant from Grand Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the hood of her 2001 Saturn while it was parked at 50 Maine Ave. in Rockville Centre between Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. and Jan. 29 at 7 a.m.

On Jan. 31 at 8:45 p.m., a complainant from Carolina Road in Douglaston reported that unknown person(s) damaged her 2011 Toyota while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 6 between 4:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

On Jan. 31 at 9:30 a.m., a complainant from Banks Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged an apartment window valued at $150 with BBs without authorization.

Unusual Incident:

On Jan. 27 at 5:15 p.m., a complainant from Wallace Street in Rockville Centre reported that an unknown male operating a white van in the vicinity of Harvard Avenue and Dorchester Road in Rockville Centre was possibly looking at her twelve-year-old daughter and a group of friends between 4:15 p.m. and 4:25 p.m.

Property Lost:

On Jan. 30 at 11:20 a.m., a complainant from N. Cottage Street in Valley Stream reported that she lost $100 while in the vicinity of Saint Agnes Cathedral Parish Center, located at 11 Quealy Place in Rockville Centre on Jan. 27 sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
