Assault

  • On Oct. 31 1:43 a.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that he was assaulted by an unknown male while in the vicinity of Maple Avenue and N. Park Avenue in Rockville Centre.

Larceny

  • On Oct. 28 at 9 a.m., a complainant from Lindenhurst reported that sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a pocketbook containing an Apple iPhone valued at $300 while in the rear of 232 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
  • On Oct. 26 at 7:05 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 6:50 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., unknown person(s) stole his 1990 Jeep valued at $3,000 while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 5 in the vicinity of Front Street in Rockville Centre.

  • On Oct. 24 at 7:26 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that an acquaintance harassed her during a Facebook chat causing annoyance and alarm.

Unusual Incident

  • On Oct. 26 at 2:09 p.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) withdrew a total of $540 from two prepaid debit cards without authorization.
  • On Oct. 27 at 10:15 a.m., a complainant from Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) attempted to open a credit card account in his name without authorization.  
  • On Oct. 24 at 12:30 p.m., the manager from Anton’s, located at 345 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported that an unknown male passed a counterfeit $50 bill while making a purchase at the gas station.

  • On Oct. 26 at 1 p.m., a complainant from NY Blood Services, located at 290 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported that sometime between 3 p.m. on Oct. 25 and 12 p.m. on Oct. 26, a door lock was damaged by unknown means.
  • On Oct. 29 at 6:25 p.m., a complainant from Marlborough Court in Rockville Centre reported that a large tree uprooted causing damage to his house.
  • On Oct. 29 at 7:16 p.m., a complainant from Nottingham Road in Rockville Centre reported that a large tree fell and caused damage to her house.
  • On Oct. 29 at 7:16 p.m., a complainant from Richmond Road in Rockville Centre reported that a large tree fell and caused damage to his house.
  • On Oct. 30 at 9:20 a.m., a complainant from Roslyn Heights reported that a Merrick resident accidentally damaged her 2010 BMW motor vehicle parked at Maple Pointe, 260 Maple Avenue in Rockville Centre, when a wind gust blew the door of a 2008 Hyundai motor vehicle into the BMW.
  • On Oct. 31 at 7:02 p.m., a complainant from Hempstead Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that at 6:30 p.m., unknown person(s) threw a rock at her window causing damage.
  • On Oct. 31 at 4:38 a.m., a complainant from Banks Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that a water flow alarm activated and damage from a leaking valve was discovered. RCFD arrived at the scene and corrected the condition.
  • On Nov. 1 at 8:25 p.m., a complainant from Uniondale reported that her 2011 Nissan automobile was damaged by unknown means while parked on Davison Place in Rockville Centre.

Property Lost

  • On Oct. 24 at 3:50 p.m., a complainant from Lee Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that a diamond engagement ring valued at $9,200 was lost in the vicinity of his residence sometime between April 1, 2012, and May 30, 2012.
