Crime Watch Part Two: Computer and Money Stolen from Parked Cars

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

Larceny:

On Oct. 5, a complainant from Roxen Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) stole a Hewlett-Packard lap top computer valued at $649 and a wallet from his 2011 Land Rover parked in the driveway of his residence between Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. and Oct. 5 at 7 a.m.

On Oct. 6 at 6:15 p.m., a complainant from Lakeview Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., unknown person(s) stole her wallet that was left in a shopping cart while at Associated Food Store, located 160 N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre.

Property Damage:

On Oct. 8 at 11:30 p.m., a complainant from Christie Street in S. Hempstead reported that unknown person(s) damaged the Taiko Restaurant store front, located at 13 S. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre, valued at $1,000 without permission.

On Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m., a complainant from Rockaway Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the rear driver side lens to her 2004 Toyota parked in the driveway between Oct. 8 at 11:30 p.m. and Oct. 9 at 9 a.m. 

Unusual Incident:

On Oct. 8 at 12:15 p.m., a complainant from Vincent Street in Rockville Centre reported that her daughter opened a Sprint cell phone account with her personal information without authorization.

Village Code Violation:

On Oct. 6 at 8:05 p.m., a complainant from Merton Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) are allowing dog feces to be deposited on his front lawn without authorization.
