Crime Watch Part Two: $700 in Skin Cream Stolen from CVS

Assault:

On Jan. 13 at 4:10 a.m., a complainant from Smith Street in Lynbrook reported that he was assaulted by four unknown males while in front of , located at 13 N. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre resulting in injuries that included a broken nose and facial lacerations.

On Jan. 10 at 6:50 p.m., a complainant from Woodward Avenue in Oceanside reported that unknown person(s) cashed a business check from , located at 209 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, for $300.17 without authorization.

On Jan. 9 at 5:30 p.m., a complainant from Parma Road in Island Park reported that sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a pocketbook containing $400, a driver's license, credit card and an Android cell phone from the kitchen area of Ear, Nose and Throat of Nassau, located at 165 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

On Jan. 11 at 8:23 p.m., a Vernon Avenue resident reported that unknown person(s) stole his GPS, a gift certificate, and $50 from his unlocked vehicle sometime between Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. and  Jan. 11 at 8 p.m., while it was parked in the parking lot to the rear of , located at 25 Buckingham Road in Rockville Centre.  

On Jan. 15 at 2:15 p.m., a complainant from New Jersey Avenue in Bellmore reported that unknown person(s) stole her LG Optimus cell phone that she had left on a counter while at King Kullen, located at 127 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

On Jan. 14, a complainant from Pine Street in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the passenger side front window valued at $190 of his 2010 Honda and stole his wife’s pocketbook while the vehicle was parked in front of 10 Lenox Road in Rockville Centre between 2 p.m. and 3:10 p.m.

On Jan. 14 at 3:30 p.m., a complainant from CVS Pharmacy, located at 598 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre, reported that an unknown female stole twenty Oil of Olay skin creams valued at $706.98.

On Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m., a complainant from Lenox Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the driver side front window valued at $200 of her 2007 Jeep and stole 30 cents while vehicle was parked in the rear parking lot of the apartment building between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

On Jan. 13 at 8:15 p.m., a complainant from Lenox Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the driver side front window valued at $200 of her 2003 Nissan and stole $12 in quarters while vehicle was parked in the rear parking lot of the apartment building between 5:20 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.

Harassment:

On Jan. 13 at 10:50 a.m., a complainant from Banks Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that a self employed work supervisor who resides in Staten Island was harassing her causing annoyance and alarm.

On Jan. 13 at 10:50 a.m., a complainant from Lakeview Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that on Jan. 11, his 16-year-old son was harassed by an acquaintance while at , located at 140 Shepherd St. in Rockville Centre.

On Jan. 14 at 10:15 a.m., a complainant from Brower Avenue in Rockville Centre reported having a dispute with an acquaintance while in the vicinity of Taco Bell, located at 570 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre on Jan. 1 at 2:30 a.m.

Property Lost:

On Jan. 9 a complainant from Jefferson Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that he lost his Peruvian passport and driver license on an MSBA bus sometime between 10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m.

On Jan. 11 at 12 p.m., a Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre resident reported that she lost her Trinidad passport and other identification somewhere between her residence and the Long Island Railroad, Rockville Centre Station sometime between 7 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. on Jan. 7.
