Crime Watch Part II: 2 Burglaries, Graffiti on Heyward Lane

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Village Code Violation

  • A sixteen year old girl from Jackson Avenue was issued an appearance ticket on Nov. 30 at 10:20 p.m. for consumption of alcohol by minors on premises following an assault investigation by police personnel at her residence.

Burglary

  • A Monroe Street resident reported to police on Nov. 25 that an unknown person(s) entered his residence and stole credit cards and $1,450 sometime between Nov. 24 at 10:30 p.m. and Nov. 25 at 7:30 a.m..    

  • A Stratford Road resident reported to police on Nov. 27 that an unknown person(s) broke a window and attempted to enter his residence sometime between Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 27 at 5 a.m.

Criminal Trespass

  • A complainant from North Village Avenue reported to police on Dec. 2  that on Nov. 30 between 3:09 and 5:40 a.m., an unknown man entered and remained in the building without authorization.

Criminal Contempt

  • A complainant from Morris Avenue reported to police on Dec. 2 that an active order of protection was violated when he was contacted by a known subject on Nov. 26.

Graffiti

  • A Heyward Lane resident reported to police on Nov. 25 at about 12:51 p.m. that an unknown person(s) spray painted her fence. 

Lost Property

  • A Maple Avenue resident reported to police on Nov. 27 at 11 p.m. that she lost her Apple iPhone while inside Cabo Restaurant, located at 3A North Park Ave.
