Crime Watch: Nearly $5K in Cell Phones Stolen From Sunrise AT&T Store

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest:

On Aug. 25 at 8 a.m., Junior R. Suriel, 27, of Rockville Centre, was arrested regarding an open case for an incident that reportedly occurred in the Nassau County Fifth Precinct.

On Aug. 26 at 2:31 a.m., Gregory Flagg, 25, of Lakeview, was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of 324 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

On Aug. 29, Bryant S. Bethea, 22, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for petit larceny following a police investigation at CVS, located at 155 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.

Burglary:

On Aug. 29, complainant manager from AT&T Store, located at 237 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported that sometime between Aug. 28 at 7:30 a.m. and Aug. 28 at noon, unknown person(s) damaged a front glass window valued at $200 and stole eleven cell phones valued at $4,640.

On Aug. 30 at 8:20 p.m., a complainant from S. Centre Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged a living room window and a back door screen lock and entered his residence without permission sometime between Aug. 28 at 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. There was no reported loss at the time of the report.

Assault:

On Aug. 27 at 2:25 a.m., a complainant from Loretta Drive in Syosset reported that an unknown male operating a black Land Rover punched him in the jaw while in the vicinity of Merrick Road and N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre.
