Crime Watch: Homes Burglarized on Hempstead Avenue, Broadway
Recent police activity as reported by the RVCPD.

Arrests
- On Dec. 11 at 9:42 p.m., Richard B. McKenna, 52, of E. Patchogue, was arrested for an open bench warrant and vehicle and traffic law violations following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Sunrise Highway and Yorktown Street in Rockville Centre.

- On Dec. 13 at 11:22 a.m., a complainant from Hempstead Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 9 p.m. on Dec. 10 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 11, unknown person(s) entered their residence through an unlocked basement window and stole an Apple iPhone valued at $600 and a Dell lap top computer valued at $1,271.
- On Dec. 16 at 12:45 a.m., a complainant from Broadway in Rockville Centre reported that on Dec. 15 at approximately 5:50 p.m., unknown person(s) entered their residence through a secured second floor window and stole jewelry valued at $400 and two BB guns valued at $100.
