Crime Watch: DWI Arrests, RVC Man Busted for Assault

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Angel D. Saravia, 33, of Deer Park, was arrested on Sept. 10 at 8:54 a.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, VTL violations and an open NYC warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree following an investigation by police personnel on Sunrise Highway.

  • Mehdi Noori, 29, of Little Neck, was arrested on Sept. 13 at 3:24 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and a VTL violation following an investigation by police personnel on Merrick Road.

  • Terrance D. Boles, 22, of Oceanside, was arrested on Sept. 14 at 12:42 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and VTL violations following an investigation by police personnel on Lenox Road.

  • Joseph S. Lewis, 37, of Rockville Centre, was arrested on Sept. 15 at 11:25 p.m. for third-degree assault and third-degree menacing following an investigation by police personnel at his Meehan Lane residence.

  • Burglary

    • The manager of Ayhan’s Restaurant, located at 201 Sunrise Highway, reported to police on Sept. 15 that sometime between Sept. 14 at 11 p.m. and Sept. 15 at 10:40 a.m., an unknown person(s) damaged a shutter and door frame to the building.

    Property Damage

    • A complainant from Merrick reported to police on Sept. 9 at 4:35 p.m. that the bumper to a 2012 Toyota was damaged by unknown means while parked at 100 N. Centre Avenue between 9:30 a.m. and 3:40 p.m.

    • A complainant from Westbury reported to police on Sept. 14 that sometime between Sept. 13 at 10:30 p.m. and Sept. 14 at 1:20 a.m., the passenger door to his 2012 Hyundai was damaged by unknown means while parked in Municipal Parking Field #7.
