Crime Watch: 2 Accidents Lead to 2 Separate DWI Arrests
Recent police activity as reported by the RVCPD.
The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- On Jan. 25 at 1:23 a.m., Arthur C, Hummler Jr, 40, of Baldwin, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following an accident investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of 716 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
- On Jan. 26 at 10:18 p.m., Gabriella E. Melendez, 24, of Baldwin, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following an accident investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre.

- On Jan. 23 at 11:21 a.m., a complainant from Oceanside reported that unknown person(s) damaged his 2008 Pontiac motor vehicle while it was parked at 242 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
Property Lost
- On Jan. 21 at 11:40 a.m., a complainant from Howard Beach reported that two NYS license plates were lost in the vicinity of Lexus Pre-owned cars, located at 666 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
