Car Crashes, Flips on Lakeview Avenue

One person was injured in the late afternoon crash.

One person was injured late Monday afternoon when a sedan slammed into a tree along Lakeview Avenue near North Forest Avenue in Rockville Centre.

Firefighters and EMS personnel were on the scene quickly and the injured driver was transported to South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside.

The damage tree had to be cut down as it was dangling in a precarious position.
