Let the people decide , not the Club Leaders

The 18 year rule by Carolyn McCarthy is ending this year. Think about this, we elected Ms. McCarthy for all the right reasons. She was a voice for the common man. In beginning she hit all the right issues. In 1996 crime was high and gun violence on the upswing. She worked hard but fell short in making our country a safer place. She brought a lot of common sense approaches with her because she was a smart woman and not a professional politician. We the people will have a chance to elect a new person. A person who is like Ms. McCarthy a political outsider.

We need a person who can work tirelessly, an independently to help change our country. We need Frank in order to move congress forward beyond the backroom deals which is common for party hacks. In the 4th Congressional district this year we have a chance to send a clear message to the Republican Party bosses, “no not this year”. We don’t need a party club boy whose first summer job was on a garbage truck for the town of Hempstead compliments of his Republican club friends. Then Mr. Blakeman gets appointed to the NY/NJ Port Authority by, guess who? If you need an endorsement for Mr. Blakeman you should call Gov. Christies office. You know how he runs the Port Authority, traffic study?

Make no mistake we do not need a person like Ms. Rice who is a professional career politician. She was appointed by the Democratic political machine to run for DA. She ran the most disrespectful and spiteful campaign against the selfless dedication of DA Dennis Dillion. He worked his whole life for the people of NC only to be drummed out by this very angry candidate Ms. Rice.

She is a character right out of the Obama Democratic playbook. First, ignore all problems until they come to light by the media. Then claim no knowledge and express outrage, strongly stating to the nation he will get to the bottom of this. He calls his attorney general Eric Holder and assigns him to get to the bottom of the issue. You know, get to the bottom of the issue by giving a statement that the problem is just an imagined problem with no validity. Create anther problem you can control and look good in. The real problems continue only hurting, we the people.

District Attorney Rice uses the Democratic playbook. She identifies a problem in the county. A problem quite frankly is low on my list of solving the serious crimes of murder, robbery, rape and the theft of property. She looks for men who victimize prostitutes and she calls it “flush the Johns” .It was a cheap political quick grab for attention.  She misuses valuable NCPD resources in a period of police layoffs and assigns them to catch “bad Johns”. She dedicates thousands of hours of Police resources to arrests 154 men. To top it all off she has to let 152 go free be because the cases lacked enough evidence to convict the “Johns”.  I hope the voters this year will “Flush the Rice” because the people of the 4th can’t take a chance with someone who takes valuable police services away from doing the real job of catching criminals.

Frank is an outsider like Mr. Brat who beat Mr. Cantor a Club politician in a Virginia primary. Mr. Brat raised 100,000$ to beat a candidate who spent 5,000, 000$ to win the primary. Frank is up against the same type of well-funded candidates who will say anything, spend everything to promote and to keep the crushing impasse in the House of the People. The only business these Machine Politicians care about is getting elected to do nothing and to perpetuate the needless spending. The People are on the road to a Nation with future debts approaching 20 Trillion dollars because of the Democratic Obama health care plan.

Frank is a worker. I don’t really know what a conservative is. If it’s a person who cares enough to learn about the issues from both sides before making a decision or a person who realizes that the business of the People from the 4th is more important than some party ideologues . I know he will cross the aisle and do the job of moving the needs of the People of the 4th forward. While Mr. Blakeman was sitting in the cab of that sanitation truck, Frank was volunteering his summers conducting tours of Grant’s Tomb. He led and spearheaded a campaign in the 1990’ to save the Tomb. This Mausoleum is the final resting place of one of the few great Presidents who saw their jobs as a mission dedicated to helping the People of America.

Frank is one of those people. Let’s send an outside independent Republican to Congress on Tuesday June 24th. We need and we wish for change now.
