The Most Reverend James J. D.D. Daly, a retired auxiliary bishop of Rockville Centre, died on Oct. 14.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved caretaker Alex.
Reposing will take place Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snow R.C. Church, located at 175 Blue Point Ave. in Blue Point. A Mass of Transferral takes place Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Agnes, located at 29 Quealy Pl. in Rockville Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to Msgr. Peter A. Chiara Hall at St. Mary's Church in East Islip or St. Pius Residence for Senior Priests in Amityville.
