Woman Raising Money for 'Passion Project' in Haiti

Goal is $3,000.

An online campaign has begun to fund a passion project for a woman's trip to photograph the people of Haiti.

The campaign, launched Friday by Kate Meyer, has already raised $375 out of a goal of $3,000.

Meyer wrote on the campaign page:

It is all about spreading the love and knowledge to the children that live in this orphanage as well as providing clean sources of water to drink from. YOUR support for this trip is not only enabling me to share my gifts with people I connect with in Haiti but YOU can now be a part of it. Your donations will be used to purchase art supplies, make bio sand water filters, hopefully drill a well, fund a video/media project to cover the whole trip, and the rest will be donated to Child Hope International. Please make a donation and join me in this amazing journey. I will be posting images to my blog so you can feel just as much a part of it as I am!
