CALL FOR ASSISTANCE

Call for Assistance

Over this recent week, the Parish of St. Agnes has been helping to facilitate the delivery of clothing and nonperishable items to St. Anthony’s Parish in Oceanside as well as other areas impacted by the recent storm.  Much of Oceanside is still without power and the Staff of the Parish has told us that getting the message out to Oceanside residents that assistance is available at St. Anthony’s Parish would be a tremendous help. 


The Parish of St. Agnes is, therefore, organizing volunteers to go to the houses in Oceanside with information sheets about available services.  Information about this effort is listed below:

Who: Adult Volunteers (Because of safety concerns, we ask that volunteers be out of high school)


When: Saturday, November 10—We meet at St. Agnes Parish Center at 9 AM for an initial briefing and then we go to Oceanside.  We will meet again in St. Agnes Parish Center at 1 PM for a debriefing

What: Letting people know that they are not alone at this time of need and there is help available to them
