People without homes sometimes resort to taking shelter in
a cardboard box. In order to express our solidarity with the Homeless and to raise money to provide emergency shelter and opportunities for permanent housing for those caught in this crisis, volunteers spend a night in a cardboard box on the campus of Molloy College. Each volunteer solicits sponsors who pledge to contribute a certain sum of money to support the volunteer’s generous effort in spending a cold night in BOXTOWN.
All donations will go to support the Bethany House of Long Island, to help homeless women and
children here in Nassau County.
