NYPD: RVC Woman Abandons Baby at Burger King

Kimberly Brundidge, 27, of RVC, allegedly left her 4-month-old daughter at a Burger King table in Queens.

The parents of a 4-month-old girl were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly leaving their infant at a Burger King in Queens, police said.

According to CBS NewYork.com, the baby girl was found alone at one of the fast food chain's tables, located on Rockaway Boulevard near the Belt Parkway. According to the report on CBS:

Kimberly Brundidge, 27, of Rockville Centre has been charged with child abandonment and acting in a manner injurious to a child. The girl’s father, 20-year-old Kendall Westly, has been charged with making a false report and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

The child was examined and is now in the custody of the Administration for Children’s Services.

According to a report on ABC Local, the Burger King employee who called 911 about the child being abandoned was actually Westly, the child's father. After investigating the incident, NYPD detectives believe the abandonment was staged Brundidge and Westly.
