Long Island Peruvian Cuisine Expo

The 2nd edition of Long Island Peruvian Cuisine Expo will take place September 30th in Freeport, NY. It will host more than 10 food exhibitors from the Long Island and Metro area, providing authentic Peruvian cuisine, live cultural entertainment and cooking demonstrations from
prestigious chefs. Partnering for the first time is Peru’s gastronomic association APEGA, organizers of internationally known food festival, Mistura in Peru.

APEGA’s chefs will also be participating by performing cooking demonstrations. These chefs include: NYC La Mar Cebicheria’s Sous Chef, Cesar Alonso Bellido, celebrity Chef Javier Ampuero from Oh! Diosas TV show and NYC Panca
Restaurant’s Chef, Daniel Olortegui. This year, participants will enjoy a variety of dishes including: Cebiche, Anticuchos, Papa a la Huancaina, Pachamanca, Chanfainita, Alfajores, Picarones,Chicha Morada amongst many other plates!
