South Nassau's 21st Annual "Communities for a Cure" 5K/Run Walk and free Multi-Cultural Health Fair

South Nassau is pleased to present its 21st Annual "Communities for a Cure" 5K/Run Walk and free Multi-Cultural Health Fair on the grounds of the hospital at One Healthy Way in Oceanside. Proceeds from this event will benefit South Nassau's Breast/GYN Health and Gertrude & Louis Feil Cancer Center. The major sponsors for this event are:Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Complete Women's Imaging,TD Bank, The Bristal Assisted Living, Hospice of New York, Red Door Spa-Elizabeth Arden, Astoria Federal Savings, Compare Foods, King Kullen, ROK Health & Fitness, Ridgewood Savings Bank and Tocci Family Chiropractic & Holistic Lifestyle Center.

The free multi-cultural health fair is open to all. There will be free health screenings and valuable information at the fair, including:

Tobacco Cessation Education
Fall Risk Assessment
Prostate Screening (PSA)
Cholesterol Screening
Blood Pressure Screening
Weight and Body Mass Index (BMI) Calculation
...and more!

The multi-cultural Health Fair is FREE for everyone! There will be entertainment and free refreshments courtesy of 7-Eleven of Merrick Rd., Oceanside, The Pretzel Stop of Oceanside, Immaculate Baking Co., Pop-Chips and Joe's Crab Shack, Oceanside.

Day of Run/Walk Prices:
5K Walk or Run - $25.00 per person
Fun Run - $15 per child (ages 5-11)
No Team Registration on the day of the race.
