The Vineyard Church is partnering with Samaritan's Purse to bring relief to local devastated communities from the lasting effects of Hurricane Sandy.
The church has been organizing work crews to do "mud outs," "clean outs," tree removal, all week, and will continue to do so.
According to Randy Larson of the Vineyard Church, the work crews will be assembling at their Lynbrook site, located at 180 Denton Ave. at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. each day.
"All people need to know is show up ready to work," Larson said. "Good pair of gloves and a mask [are needed] in case they encounter mold. We have all the tools."
