St. Mark’s Hosting ‘Blessing of the Beasts’
Saturday event for family's four-legged members.
St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Rockville Centre will be holding a “Blessing of the Beasts” ceremony on Saturday, May 18.
The event will start at 10 a.m., rain or shine.
“They're always there for us, always in the mood for a cuddle after a rough day, 100 percent loyal and lovable,” a church release reads. “We're talking about our best friends, the ones who have fur, feathers, scales, paws, you know … our beloved pets. Now you can give a little something back!”
The church said that all “critters” are welcome.The church is located at 200 Hempstead Ave.
