Rockville Centre's Diane Masciale Promoted

WNET, parent company of New York’s public television stations THIRTEEN and WLIW21 and operator of NJTV, announced the promotion of Rockville Centre resident Diane Masciale to the position of General Manager, WLIW21; Executive Producer, WLIW Productions.

Diane was previously Executive Producer of WLIW productions.  In her new role as General Manager, WLIW21; Executive Producer, WLIW Productions, Masciale will be responsible for date-to day operations of WLIW21 and will continue as Executive Producer of WLIW productions like MetroFocus and Treasures of New York, as well as the MMG Arts Initiative, which is delivering high-quality arts programming to PBS stations across the country.

“In her tenure as Executive Producer of WLIW productions, Diane has managed an explosion of new, high-quality content,” says Shapiro.  “We are pleased to see this native of Long Island take the helm of the country’s 4th largest PBS station.”
