Crime Watch: Plates Stolen from Car at Mercy Hospital
Crime Watch Part II: Plates stolen at Mercy Hospital, attempted burglary, counterfeit bills used at King Kullen in Rockville Centre.
The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department.
Attempted Burglary
- Jan. 3: At 6:05 p.m., a complainant from William Street, Rockville Centre reported that between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., unknown person(s) damaged a side door to her residence.

- Dec. 30: At 3:30 p.m., a complainant from Holland Avenue, Floral Park reported that between Dec. 29 at 6:50 p.m. and Dec. 30 at 8 a.m., unknown person(s) stole a Florida license plate from her 2003 Toyota while it was parked at Mercy Medical Center.
- Jan. 5: At 5:54 PM, a complainant from Hempstead Avenue, Rockville Centre reported that sometime since Oct. 18 at approximately 3 p.m., unknown person(s) removed a UPS delivery valued at $1,000.00 from the lobby of the apartment building without permission.
Forgery
- Dec. 30: At 11:30 a.m., a complainant store manager from King Kullen reported that on Dec. 27 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. an unknown person made purchase(s) with five counterfeit $20 bills.
