Larceny

  • A complainant from Hempstead Avenue reported to police on Monday, Sept. 23 at 5:10 p.m. that an unknown person(s) stole the roof storage rack from the top of his motor vehicle while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field #20.

  • A complainant from Nottingham Road reported to police on Sept. 26 that on Sept. 24 at 8 p.m., an unknown person(s) stole her blue/green case containing an Apple iPad, valued at $500, and $150 from the bleachers at Hickey Field.

  • A complainant from North Village Avenue reported to police on Sept. 26 that on Sept. 25 at 1:30 p.m. an unknown person(s) stole her Apple iPhone valued at $600 from her unlocked motor vehicle that was parked at 127 Sunrise Highway.

  • A complainant from Driscoll Avenue reported to police on Sept. 27 that sometime between Sept. 16 and Sept. 20 an unknown person(s) stole a Magellan GPS device, valued at $150, and $180 from a 2006 Honda vehicle parked at her residence.

  • A complainant from Mercy Medical Center reported to police on Sept. 27 that sometime between Sept. 23 and Sept. 27 an unknown person(s) stole 60 fire sprinkler heads valued at $2,400 from the mechanical room of the hospital.

  • A complainant from Greystone Road reported to police on Sept. 28 that sometime since Sept. 24 an unknown person(s) stole a 2013 Chevrolet vehicle from a driveway on Windsor Avenue.

  • A complainant from Rockville Centre reported to police on Sept. 29 that sometime between Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m. and Sept. 29 at 5 p.m., an unknown person(s) stole a bicycle tire and rim valued at $50 from the vicinity of the LIRR station.

  • Criminal Mischief

    • A complainant from Woods Avenue reported to police on Sept. 27 that sometime between Sept. 26 at 11 p.m. and Sept. 27 at 7 a.m., four tires on two motor vehicles valued at $600 were damaged by an unknown means while parked in the driveway.

    • A complainant from Vincent Street reported to police on Sept. 29 at 1:00 p.m. that he had a dispute with an acquaintance from Oceanside resulting in two broken windows, valued at $200.

    Property Damage

    • A complainant from Oceanside Road in Oceanside reported to police on Sept. 24 that sometime between 5 and 5:40 p.m., the driver side door and fender to his 2012 Ford vehicle was damaged by an unknown means while parked in Municipal Parking Field #4.

    • A complainant from Uniondale reported to police on Sept. 26 that sometime between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., his 2007 Mazda motor vehicle was damaged by unknown means while parked at Skelos Field.
