Rockville Centre bar McFadden's will be closing its doors May 18.
Due to new ownership, the bar will be closed for several months for "some major renovations" and will reopen around mid-August under a new name that has not yet been decided, according to a McFadden's employee Nicole Gerbe.
Gerbe said that they are aiming to renovate the kitchen to do more dinner business.

"The new bar will have more a sports bar feel," she said.
The bar will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until closing.
