Looking to get a hands-on car wash? Look no further than the Ultra Sonic Hand Car Wash.
The new car wash, located on Ocean Avenue and Merrick Road in Rockville Centre, recently opened after months of construction.
The application for the car wash was approved by the village back in January, with construction starting shortly after.
Ultra Sonic differs from other car washes because no machines touch the vehicles. Instead, all of the washing, soaping and drying is done by staff.
Residents had previously expressed concerns over the traffic, since the new car wash is located on a busy intersection. There is only one way to enter and leave the car wash, with cars entering and exiting on Ocean Avenue.
