'High Fidelity' Musical to Make LI Debut at Molloy
The Molloy Performing Arts Club starting Thursday will put on Long Island’s first-ever performance of High Fidelity, based on the book by Nick Hornby and movie of the same name starring John Cusack.
The musical tells the story of Rob Gordon, a record store owner who evaluates his life and his past loves through music after his girlfriend leaves him.
“It's a great show with amazing music, so much fun, and a hilarious script,” said Michael Visconti, who stars as Rob and directs. “It’s never been done on the island before, and I don't know if it will ever be done again, so don't miss out on this amazing chance to see it.”
