The United Church of Rockville Centre is a United Church of Christ congregation, tracing its roots back to the staunchlyMore Protestant Pilgrims and Congregationalists of the Plymouth Bay Colony of Massachusetts in 1620. In addition to regular Church School for children of all ages, it offers a Sunday Worship service at 10:30 a.m., and a Nursery School during the week. The pastor, the Rev. Peter Dennebaum, conducts baptisms, weddings, funerals and house blessings. The church has an all-volunteer choir. United Church of Rockville Centre supports local, national and international missions such as Habitat for Humanity and God's Love We Deliver.

St. Mark's United Methodist Church opened its doors in Rockville Centre in the mid-18th century. Pastor Roger Johns, whoMore has led the congregation since the 1990s, said the church is a multicultural one that opens its arms to everyone. It hosts a 10am mass on Sundays and holds a year-long sports program for children. There are no weekday masses, and the church also participates in a cooperative nursery school adjacent to the church grounds. In addition, the church hosts Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, yoga classes and boys and girls scout nights.

United Church Nursery School offers morning and afternoon classes for kids ages 2 through 4. Programs include TwogetherMore We Go for two-year-olds and their moms, Toddler Separation, three and four-year-old programs, enrichment programs for four-year-olds and a summer program. All staff members are certified teachers that are CPR-certified and participate in professional development workshops and conferences.

St. Mark's Cooperative Nursery School opened its doors in September of 1968. In 1976, it became the first cooperativeMore nursery school in Nassau County to be registered by the New York State Department of Education.

The non-profit organization is operated by the parents who send their children (ages three to five) to the school. St. Mark's offers a variety of classes, from colors and shapes for three-year-olds, to letters and numbers for five-year-olds. The school is currently run by Shirley Perri.

St. Mark's Cooperative Nursery School is located in the basement of St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
