St. Mark's United Methodist Church

St. Mark's United Methodist Church opened its doors in Rockville Centre in the mid-18th century. Pastor Roger Johns, who has led the congregation since the 1990s, said the church is a multicultural one that opens its arms to everyone. It hosts a 10am mass on Sundays and holds a year-long sports program for children. There are no weekday masses, and the church also participates in a cooperative nursery school adjacent to the church grounds. In addition, the church hosts Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, yoga classes and boys and girls scout nights.
