South South still has a good shot at the playoffs with its remaining four games coming against coming against four teams that have combined for a 4-12 record to this point.

  • Record: 7-0
  • Summary: How do the Lady Cyclones follow up the team's 16th state championship in school history? Winning the first seven games of the 2012 season without allowing a goal is a pretty good start. That's right, the Lady Cyclones have outscored their opponents 23-0 thus far. Keri Cavallo, Christina Klaum, Katie Ford and goalie Sarah McCarthy -- who has literally been flawless -- have led the team along with a number of other players this season. A 17th state championship might not be far off.
  • Next Game: at Clarke (4-3-1); Oct. 4, 4:30 p.m.
