The South Side High School Lady Cyclones topped the Plainedge Red Devils, 15-9, in the quarterfinals of the Class B playoffs on Thursday night at Skelos Field.

The Lady Cyclones were led by two sophomores,  midfielder Michaela Lynch, who scored six goals, and Liz Hoeffner, who contributed four of her own. Senior goalie Kelsey Gregerson had eight saves in the win.
