One of the most incredible things about the practice of yoga is that everybody and anybody can do yoga. Regardless of athletic ability, body type, injury, or illness, a yoga practice can be modified to suit the needs of just about anyone.
...In this 4-week workshop series, you will gain foundational knowledge of basic yogic principles necessary to create a strong and lifelong practice. You will leave with an in-depth understanding of your own body, the tools necessary to deepen your practice, and the confidence and fearlessness needed to start your own yoga journey. In each hour-and-half session, we will explore yoga postures, breathing, philosophy, and physical modifications to suit each student s specific needs. The sessions will focus on a specific set of postures while reviewing and revisiting postures from the prior weeks. Each class will build on the one before it, but will also provide a well-balanced practice for those students who are unable to attend the whole series.
