Cyclones Shutout Malverne 2-0 in Season Finale

SSHS boy's soccer notches tenth overall win.

In South Side's last matchup before Saturday's 2 p.m. playoff game at the Dean Skelos Sports Complex, the Cyclones beat Malverne 2-0 on Tuesday, lifting their Conference V season record to 9-1-2. The Cyclones are 10-1-4 overall.

Junior Kevin Cook and sophomore Kyle Morrissey scored South Side's two goals, while senior Ben Tetelman chipped in an assist. Senior goalie Deven Khosla and junior goalkeeper Taylor Kosakoff combined to stop four shots on goal for the shutout.

The last time the Cyclones played Malverne, South Side routed them, 6-0.
