VIDEO: Closing the Racial Gap in Student Achievement

is one of two Long Island high schools featured in the documentary film, A Tale of Two Schools: Race and Education on Long Island, which was screened Monday at Stony Brook University at a regional forum for education equity. Principal Dr. Carol Corbett Burris was invited by the nonprofit group ERASE Racism to present Rockville Centre's model for merging academic class levels as one approach to eliminating the achievement gap between students of different ethnic backgrounds.
