South Side Qualifies for National Science Bowl Regionals

Students earn trip to DC to compete against 50 other schools across the country.

South Side High School competed in the qualifying regional of the National Science Bowl on March 2. 

The students competed against schools from all over the state including RPI and Albany High School. They earned a trip to compete in Washington, D.C.  on April 25 and will be competing on April 29 against approximately 50 other schools from across the country. 

The students will be addressed by Congress, meet Secretary of Energy Steve Chu, and possibly meet with President Obama.
