RVC Resident Wins North American Irish Dance Championship

Jonathan De Tullio took home the national title this past July in Chicago.

After winning the regional championship for the second time, Rockville Centre resident Jonathan De Tullio traveled to Chicago, in July, and won the 2012 North American Irish Dance Championship.

De Tullio is pictured with Karen and Lisa Petri, his teachers and the owners of the Petri School of Irish Dance in Franklin Square. He said is grateful for the incredible training that he receives at the school and is looking forward to the world championship, which will be held for the second time in the United States.

The week-long competition will take place in Boston over the Easter/Passover recess.
