RVC Resident Awarded Major Scholarship at Holy Trinity

RVC junior has maintained a weighted average of more than 97 percent at Holy Trinity.

On March 22, Holy Trinity High School held its annual Junior Ring Night Ceremony. Four juniors, including one from Rockville Centre, were awarded scholarships for their senior year by the Office of Institutional Advancement.

RVC resident Jonathan Trencheny has maintained a weighted average of more than 97 percent with an all honors and AP course load while being very active as a First Lieutenant in the Rockville Centre Fire Department, as well as with the American Red Cross during the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Because of his "extraordinary penchant for leadership," Trencheny received the scholar athlete award for spring track as a sophomore; was selected to participate in the “Project Understanding” trip to Israel; selected to participate in Holy Trinity’s summer service trip to Nazareth Farm; and this year was named captain of the varsity cross country team.
