Molloy College held its graduation ceremony on May 21 at Nassau Coliseum, handing out diplomas to nearly 1,000 students.
The Rockville Centre based college handed out 680 Bachelor's degrees, 290 Master's degrees and eight advanced degrees.
Molloy's valedictorian for the class of 2012 was Gregory Lubrano, and its salutatorian was Caroline Lynch.
Dr. Mark A. Emmert, president of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), was the featured speaker at the college’s 2012 commencement ceremony. Dr. Emmert received an honorary doctor of laws degree (LL.D.) during the ceremony.
Dr. Emmert became the fifth president of the NCAA in October 2010.
